(May 2025) Herndon, VA — MOSIMTEC will take part in the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) Annual Conference & Expo, held May 31 – June 3 at the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel and Cobb Galleria Centre. The firm’s consultants will contribute to several technical sessions, panel discussions, and student activities, while also being available for discussion and demonstrations in the exhibit hall.
The program begins on Saturday with the Student Symposium, where Principal Amy Greer will serve as a mentor. That evening, MOSIMTEC representatives will attend the Institute Advisory Board (IAB) networking dinner.
On Sunday, Amy will receive the coveted IISE Fellow Award during the awards ceremony and keynote session. Senior Consultant Geoff Skipton will present a discrete‑event simulation study focused on a Pet Food Supplier logistics network in the morning. During the afternoon, Partner & Co-founder Saurabh Parakh will join the panel “Career Paths: Finding Your Fit,” and Geoff will serve as a judge for the Arena® Student Simulation Competition.
Monday’s program features two concurrent morning sessions. Partner & Co‑founder Martin Franklin will speak on a panel discussing careers in consulting, while Amy will participate in a discussion on industrial applications of discrete‑event simulation. In the afternoon, Amy and Saurabh will outline MOSIMTEC’s work on using simulation to support Walmart’s Breakpack.
The final day includes a career‑development panel, with Amy as panelist, offering guidance to early‑career industrial engineers.
Throughout Monday and Tuesday, attendees can visit MOSIMTEC in the Exhibit Hall to view demonstrations of digital‑twin models and discuss applications of simulation in logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, and supply chain, amongst others.
