(February 2017) Washington, DC – MOSIMTEC is proud to announce that the team is even stronger than before with two new full-time simulation consultants recently joining.
Leading organizations are realizing the benefit of applying modeling and simulation to support informed decision making, and MOSIMTEC is responding to the increased demand by recently appointing two new full-time simulation consultants.
George F. Miller joined MOSIMTEC in January 2017 as full-time Associate Simulation Consultant after working with MOSIMTEC on contract basis in 2016. Mr. Miller, previously a self-motivated entrepreneur, brings to MOSIMTEC a wealth of experience working in the DOD sector as a developer, both as a government official and as a contractor, along with running a successful small business. His software engineering best practices and advocacy for Agile software development and project management methodologies complements the MOSIMTEC approach. He earned his Master of Science in Information Technology specializing in Software Engineering from the University of Maryland University College (UMUC) and also a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Old Dominion University (ODU).
Geoffrey P. Skipton joined MOSIMTEC in February 2017 as full-time Senior Simulation Consultant. Mr. Skipton joins MOSIMTEC with twenty (20) years of experience in simulation modeling, software engineering, and IT solutions. He has consulted with and provided solutions for over a dozen companies in healthcare, supply chain, entertainment, quick service food, manufacturing, and government. Most recently he held positions as a Senior Software Engineer & Group Leader in commercial software and as a Senior IT Professional Developer. He has earned a Bachelor of Information Systems from Austin Peay State University, in addition to studies towards a Masters of Computer Science at Middle Tennessee State University.
