MineTwin (MT) is a configurable simulation-based decision support tool for underground and surface mines. It provides fast/powerful simulation models that consider constraints and inter-dependencies of real-world mines including:

MT has been used for a wide range of mining providers. For a leading producer, it was used to create a configurable digital model of 6 underground copper/nickel mines. Results included savings of $262 Million due to equipment fleet optimization, a MT ROI >800% due to more optimal scheduling and redistribution of equipment between mines, and determination of ROI for 10 initiatives, including fast borers, railveyors, hot seat shift changes, etc.

For a European mining company, MT was used to create a decision support system for potash mines. This increased monthly mine plan accuracy by 10%. Simulation was also used to determine targets for mining teams, with production rising 3-5% due to more incentivized mine workers. Operational improvements were also tested that led to a 12% increase in production without capex.
